We realise that you can only enjoy a relaxing holiday if you know that your children are happy and safe. Le Galelle and its region offer a lot of fun opportunities for your kids.

Spacious, Safe Environment

Le Galelle is in a secluded spot in beautiful countryside away from traffic and roads, so you know that your youngsters will be safe.

The grounds and the house are large so they'll have plenty of space to run around in.

Beaches, Water Parks and Plunge Pool

Children come on holiday for water, and there's plenty of it here!

There are miles of clean, safe, sandy beaches and Le Galelle is not far from the coast.

There is also a water park called Onda Blu near Tortoreto in Teramo province, which is a very pleasant drive along the coast. See its website www.acquaparkondablu.it.

There is another water park to the south near Vasto. See its website www.aqualandvasto.com.

If you want to stay in for the day, the children can enjoy playing safely in the plunge pool in the garden.

Games Room

Le Galelle has a games room with a table tennis table where children can amuse themselves happily. There is also a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, for when they have tired themselves out and want to wind down.

Learn To Ski

If you want your youngsters to learn to ski, then Abruzzo offers quiet ski resorts without the crowds of the Alps. The resorts have ski schools with qualified instructors. The nearest resort is Passo Lanciano, where you can ski with a view of the Adriatic Sea!

Wildlife!

Abruzzo is rich with wildlife, from gekkos and interesting insects to wild boar, brown bears and wolves! So a bit of educational creature-spotting can be fun.

There is a butterfly farm not far from Le Gallele (see their website www.butterflyfarmabruzzo.it) and there are numerous national and regional nature reserves to explore.
